Fall Vaccine Clinics

At any age, vaccination provides the longest-lasting and most effective protection against disease. Both the COVID-19 and influenza vaccines are recommended for everyone 6 months of age and older.

Residents who live in Timiskaming District (and the Municipality of Temagami) will be able to book an appointment with Northeastern Public Health at 1-877-442-1212, see their local participating pharmacy or make an appointment with their health care provider who offer the COVID-19 and flu vaccine.

RSV

RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) is a highly contagious respiratory virus, common in the fall through spring. Nearly all children will have had RSV by age 2. While it typically causes mild, cold-like symptoms, it can lead to severe respiratory illness in infants and older adults.
